Composite bonding uses a tooth-coloured resin — the same material we use for white fillings — to artfully reshape, lengthen, or repair teeth without any drilling on the underlying tooth. It's the same technique we use to fix a small chip, but applied with cosmetic intent.
We sculpt the composite freehand directly onto your teeth, shape it to match your surrounding teeth perfectly, then cure it with a special light. The result looks like part of your natural tooth — and you can eat on it the same day.
It's a great option when veneers are more than you need or want, when budget is a real consideration, or when you want to 'try out' a smile change before committing to porcelain.

We pick composite shades that blend invisibly with your surrounding teeth — sometimes layering shades for natural depth.
Prepare the surface
A mild etching gel roughens the enamel microscopically so the composite bonds tightly. No drilling needed for most cases.
Sculpt & cure
We apply the composite freehand, shape it to match the surrounding teeth, and harden it with a curing light in seconds.
Polish to a natural shine
Final polishing makes the composite look and feel exactly like enamel. You leave with the result done — no second visit needed.

How long does composite bonding last?
Typically 5–8 years before touch-ups or replacement. Avoiding biting hard objects (ice, pens) and grinding will extend its life.
Will it stain?
Composite can pick up stain over time, more than porcelain does — especially from coffee, tea and tobacco. Regular cleanings and occasional polishing keep it bright.
Bonding vs. veneers — how do I choose?
Bonding is faster, cheaper, and conservative — best for small changes. Veneers cost more but last longer and resist staining better — best for full smile makeovers.
Does it hurt?
Not at all. For most cases we don't even need to numb the tooth — you can read a book through it.
