Teeth Whitening
Professional whitening that actually works — visibly brighter teeth in one visit, with predictable results and minimal sensitivity.
Big-difference brightening, without the drugstore guesswork.
Most over-the-counter whitening strips lighten teeth 1–2 shades — when they work. Professional whitening, supervised by your dentist, can lift teeth 4–8 shades in a single in-office visit, or comparable results over 1–2 weeks with custom take-home trays.
The difference is concentration, fit, and protection. Professional gels are stronger; trays made from impressions of your teeth deliver the gel evenly without burning your gums; and we tailor the protocol to your sensitivity, the staining pattern, and how fast you want results.
We also screen first. Some discolouration responds beautifully to whitening; some doesn't and needs a different approach. We'll tell you upfront which one you are.
Two ways to whiten
Shade-match & screening
We document your starting shade, check for cracks, decay, or sensitivity that should be addressed first, and recommend the right protocol.
In-office whitening
Want it done in one visit? About 60–90 minutes in the chair, with gum protection and a professional-strength gel — leave several shades brighter.
Custom take-home trays
Prefer to whiten at home over 10–14 nights? We make custom trays from a digital scan and give you the gel — same results, slower and gentler.
Maintenance plan
We send you home with a touch-up schedule and tips on which foods/drinks stain most — so your investment lasts.

Your questions, answered.
Will whitening hurt?
Mild zinging cold sensitivity for a day or two is common; severe pain is not. We pre-treat with desensitising agents and can adjust gel concentration to keep you comfortable.
Will my crowns and fillings change colour?
No — only natural tooth structure responds to whitening. If you have visible front-tooth crowns or fillings, we'll plan around them so your smile ends up evenly bright.
How long do results last?
Typically 1–2 years before a touch-up is helpful, depending on your coffee, wine, and smoking habits. A few nights of tray top-up brings you right back.
Why didn't drugstore strips work for me?
Strips have low gel concentrations and don't sit flush against curved teeth. Professional whitening is dramatically more effective in both strength and fit.
